Swara Bhasker trolled after actress visits Lodhi Gardens

Mumbai: Actress Swara Bhasker recently visited Lodhi Gardens located in New Delhi. Later, she shared the photographs on her Twitter account.

The actress described Lodhi Gardens as geographical version of a Jagjit Singh ghazal.

Reacting over the pictures, some of the Twitterati trolled her. One of them wrote, “Go to Akshar dham once and post picture if you have courage”.

Trolls target Swara Bhasker

It may be mentioned that trolls are targeting the actress ever since she started raising voice against right-wing ideologues.

Recently, a troll asked her, “6 months hogaye desh me CAA lagu hoke.. can you tell us how many ppl lost there citizenship?? How many ppl are sent in detention centre?”.

Replying to the troller, the actress wrote, “Jab tak NRC nahi laagoo hota (via NPR data), amendments in CAA have no real impact on Indian citizens (despite the fact that the amendments themselves are v problematic).. CAA/ NRC/ NPR are all linked. Use your brains for more than trolling!”

The actress was in headlines when she slammed government for passing Citizenship Amendment Act 2019.

CAA gives citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Paris, Buddhists and Christians from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan who have entered India before 31st December 2014. On the other hand, NRC is the register of Indian citizens.
