Hyderabad: According to the report of NITI Ayog the rate of infant mortality shows a decline during the past three years.
It may be mentioned that Govt. is making arrangements for providing nutritious food to pregnant women.
Facilities of transportation etc., are also being provided to pregnant women.
As a result of these welfare measures, the rates of infant mortality have come down in the state.
It has been revealed on the basis of a nationwide survey conducted by NITI Ayog. This survey covered 950 items concerning the health of pregnant women.
