Hyderabad: Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) legislators and corporators used social media and flex banners to mobile crowd for Tiranga Rally which was held on Friday.
Text messages
Abdul Bari, a resident of Malakpet said that MLA and Corporator had asked people to attend the rally along with the family. They continuously reminded about the rally, he added.
Another person by name Amer Quadri said that party leaders had sent text messages informing about the rally.
Tiranga Rally
It may be mentioned that thousands of people had gathered for the Tiranga rally to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
The rally was led by All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
The rally began from the historic Mir Alam Eidgah and culminated in a public meeting at the Shastripuram grounds.
