Hyderabad: TS Secretariat was locked after vacating it and the keys were handed over to Chief Secretary of TS, Dr. S K Joshi.
It may be noted that Govt. of Telangana had given 29th September as the deadline for vacating secretariat which ended yesterday.
It is understood that Govt. is awaiting High Court verdict for the construction of proposed new Secretariat building. Govt. also hopes that the hurdles in the construction of new Secretariat will be removed soon. It may be mentioned that certain political parties, service associations and other organizations have filed petitions in Telangana High Court against the decision of Govt. of TS for constructing new Secretariat building which are pending.
