Abu Dhabi: Police officials of Abu Dhabi announced that the ‘smart driving test’ will be introduced in the month of December 2019.
According to the report published in Khaleej Times, the system will make use of Artificial Intelligence and technology to evaluate the performance of the driver.
Cameras of the system
Out of the nine cameras of the system, six will be outside the car whereas, three will be inside. The cameras will check whether the driver is keeping an eye on the mirrors while changing lanes etc.
The system will deduct marks when the driver commits any of the 21 listed mistakes.
It may be noted that 18 such cars will serve UAE whereas, 10 and 8 cars will be rolled out in Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
