VH slams PM for silent about KCR family rule & corruption

Hyderabad: Former Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress Leader V. Hanumantha Rao today launched scathing attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for “ignoring” Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s family rule in the State.

He wanted to know from the Prime Minister, who called AP Chief Minister M Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s rule as a family rule while addressing a public meeting at Guntur on Sunday, weather he failed to see the family rule of KCR’s family in Telangana State and its “corrupt” practices. He demanded that Narendra Modi give an explanation to the people of Telangana State for his silence over non -implementation of promises made to the Telangana State in AP Reorganization Act.

Thanking the party president for participating in Dharma Porata Deeksha held by the AP CM in New Delhi, Rao said that the people of Andhra Pradesh state were very happy about it. He made it clear that the promises made to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states would be fulfilled only after Rahul Gandhi became the PM of the country. He said that he had applied to the party high command for giving him Khammam MP seat and added that he would win from the seat of the party high command fielded him from the seat.

Taking potshots at KCR, VH said the Telangana CM had begun a new tradition in the State by not expanding his cabinet. He said he was doubtful whether the State had any kind of government or not to serve the people.
