Hyderabad: Telangana Waqf Board employees have been deprived of December salaries, in the absence of Chief Executive Officer.
Only CEO is entitled to sign on cheques in his absence no one can use his powers.
Abdul Hameed is on long leave since December 16, the Waqf board activities are standstill since then.
Though by issuing orders on December 28, the government had given additional charge to the Director Minority Welfare Shah Nawaz Qasim but he seems to have no interest in the post. Despite government orders he has not taken the charge.
As they have not received their salaries, the employees are forced to take loan to meet their domestic expenses.
