Geneva – Peace with Iran is the mother of all peace while war with Iran is the mother of all wars said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a special broadcast on state TV today.
Things turned hostile with tensions risen between Iran and US after it pulled out of International agreement with Iran’s nuclear program last year, Reuters reports.
“Peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, war with Iran is the mother of all wars,” Rouhani said at the Foreign Ministry in a speech.
Iran must be allowed to export oil along with US lifting all sanctions imposed on Iran if the United States wants to have negotiations said Rouhani.
“A strait for a strait. It can’t be that the Strait of Hormuz is free for you and the Strait of Gibraltar is not free for us,” he added.
According to estimates, approximately one-fifth of the world’s oil traffic passes through the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
