Lucknow: Waseem Rizvi, Chairman of UP Shia Wakf Board made derogatory remarks against the women protesting at Ghanta Ghar of Lucknow against CAA and other black laws.
In a video message, he said that the protesting women are of bad character and they are spoiling the peaceful atmosphere of Lucknow.
The women protesters are irritated over his statement.
In the video message, Rizvi also spoke about Maulana Kalbe Jawad Naqvi.
Reaction of protesters
A protester, Sumaiya Rana told that Wasim Rizvi is a crooked person. He forgot that the party of which line he is following has given the slogan ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padao’. A person who issues such statement has no character.
A law student, Hina told that such statements are expected from an illiterate person like Rizvi. Fozia Rana told that it seems that Rizvi lost balance of mind. Gulnaz Bano invited him to come to the place of protest and talk to agitating women.
