Yemen: Houthi rebels claim shooting down 2 spy drones near SA

SANAA: Two Saudi-led coalition’s spy drones shot down near the border with Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, claim Yemen’s Houthi rebels.

“One spy drone was shot down near the border of the southwestern Saudi region of Jizan, while the other drone was downed near the southern Saudi region of Asir,” the Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea said in a statement reported by the group’s al-Masirah television.

The Saudi-led coalition, which has been battling the Iran-allied Houthi group in Yemen for over four years, did not confirm any such report.
