Gorakhpur [UP]: A 24-year-old youth was lynched after getting caught with his girlfriend in an objectionable position. This incident took place in Gorakhpur District, UP.
According to the report published in Times of India, it all started after Gautam Pal found his sister and the youth, Suraj Pal in a room. Immediately, Suraj took out his gun and shot at Gautam.
After listening to the gunshot, villagers and girl’s family members caught Suraj and lynched him to death. He was attacked with wooden sticks and sharp-edged weapons. In the assault, he received serious injuries. Although he was rushed to the hospital, doctors declared him brought dead.
Talking to newsmen, Mr. Sunil Gupta, Gorakhpur SSP confirmed that Suraj Pal was caught in an objectionable position with his girlfriend.
Police registered a case and started investigation.
