Zomato reponse to Mumbai toddler wins the internet

An innocent message from four-year-old kid seeking “number balloons”, “cars” and “gifts” to a Zomato delivery number made the food delivery app an off-season Santa.

Mumbai resident Irshad Daftari on Monday adorned by the innocence of the child’s play shared a sweet post on Twitter.

Sharing the screenshot, Mr Daftari wrote: “In other news, my 4-year-old son thinks that if he messages Zomato with his fav things, they might deliver them to him.”

The tweet of the child’s innocence not only widely circulated but also caught Zomato’s eye and it takes no time to make the Riaan’s wish come true.

A day later, the little kid received the “best surprise ever.”

Riaan’s mother, Neeti Daftari speaking to NDTV told Zomato delivered a box having a remote-controlled red-car and a pizza to their family.

Zomato Care also responded to Mr Daftari’s tweet with a ‘Surprise’ GIF, saying, “Making our Junior Super Foodie smile is what we aim for. #ZomaLove.”

Durga Raghunath, Senior Vice President of Growth, Zomato got responded saying, “So glad!”

Mr Daftari replied with a thanking note, saying, how Zomato “made a small fella and his mum and dad very happy. (And his little sis).”
