‘Ishq Subhan Allah’: Clerics object to new fiction show on “Triple Talaq”

Mumbai: After Zee TV launched new fiction show, “Ishq Subhan Allah” which highlights Triple Talaq issue, Muslim clerics started objecting.

According to the report published in Zoom, various clerics objected to the show. Citing the reason, they said that Triple Talaq has been shown in the show for the purpose of entertainment. The Shariat Board Chief, Imam Organizations and Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind have also raised questions on the show.

It may be mentioned that the story is about intelligent, young Maulvi Kabeer Ahmed played by Adnan Khan and confident and free-willed Zara played by actress Eisha Singh. Both Kabeer and Zara are devout followers of Islam, who happen to interpret the ‘Holy Quraan’ very differently.
