Here are five unusual vending machines to look out for in Hyderabad.

1. OGMini Diecast Vending Machine

For collectors, shopping for a miniature car can now be as easy as buying a snack. The OGMini machine at Snaapp224, Kokapet, stocks 1:64-scale die-cast models from brands including Hot Wheels and Majorette.

Customers select a car, pay through UPI and the sealed model drops into the tray. OGMini’s current locator lists the Kokapet station as an active drop station.

2. Leaf Water BeautyPOD

Forget walking around a store wondering which skincare product suits you. The Leaf Water BeautyPOD combines AI-based skin analysis with a skincare vending experience.

The company says users can scan their face, receive personalised recommendations and purchase products through the pod. Its recent updates say a BeautyPOD is live at GMR Hyderabad Airport, operating 24/7. It is handy for travellers on the go.

3. IJOOSE Orange Juice Machine

At Ameerpet Metro Station

, the IJOOSE machine turns buying juice into a spectacle. Instead of dispensing a ready-made bottle, the machine uses oranges placed inside it to prepare fresh juice.

The machine went live at Ameerpet Metro Station in late 2025, according to a post by the team behind the installation. Commuters have also been discussing the machine and its fresh orange juice experience.

4. Story Box

This one does not feel like a vending machine at all. Located at DoScience in Sanjeevaiah Park, the Story Box has been designed as an “ATM of literature”. Press a button and it can dispense short stories, poems, interesting facts and puzzles.

Library Solutions, which developed it, describes it as a library in a box that can store thousands of pieces of short content. It turns spare minutes into reading time.

5. Crazzy Candy

At Next Galleria Mall in Punjagutta, cotton candy gets a robotic makeover. Crazzy Candy uses a robotic arm to prepare the sweet treat, with 30 customisable designs including hearts, butterflies and stars. 4 different flavour and colours, hygenic sugar and natural colours,self cleaning and 100% hygenic

The machine can make the treat in about two minutes, with prices ranging from Rs.125 to Rs.350.

What makes these machines stand out is not convenience. Each one adds curiosity to a transaction.
