Customs officials seize gold worth Rs 30.78L at Hyderabad airport

The passenger had concealed the gold in a DC power supply machine.

Hyderabad: Airport Customs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport apprehended a passenger and seized 510.5 gm valued at Rs 30.78 lakh.

The passenger arrived at the RGIA from Bangkok by Thai Airways TG-329 and was stopped by the officials based on passenger profiling and surveillance.

The passenger had concealed the gold in a DC power supply machine.
