Fire at chemical factory in Sangareddy, no casualties

The fire is still raging, and six vehicles have been deployed at the spot.

Hyderabad: A fire broke out at a chemical factory in the Gaddapotharam area of Sangareddy district at around 4:00 pm on Friday, April 10, due to a chemical reaction. All workers immediately rushed out, and there were no casualties or injuries, fire officials said.

The fire is still raging, and six vehicles have been deployed at the spot. The factory is owned by a person named Malikarjun Reddy and produces toluene solvent and methanol, an official from Jeedimetla fire station told Siasat.com.
