Hyderabad: Ministers launch 2 BHK Dignity Housing Colony in Old Marredpally

Hyderabad: Telangana Cabinet Ministers on Thursday inaugurated a 2bhk Dignity Housing colony in Old Marredpally, Secunderabad.

Ministers Mahmood Muhammad Ali, KT Rama Rao, Talasani Yadav, Ch Malla Reddy cut the ribbon together and provided beneficiaries with the paperwork of the houses.

The Government of Telangana has constructed a total of 468 2BHK dignity houses in 22 blocks in this colony at a cost of Rs. 36.27 crores.

Speaking at the event, KTR said that 1 lakh dignity houses are being built in the city of Hyderabad alone. He said that the houses being to the beneficiaries cannot be sold to others but can only be given as an inheritance to their next generation in the family. “I also request you to keep the colony clean and green with plants and the responsibility of turning it into a model colony rests on you,” he added.

MLA Sayanna, MLC Surabhi Vani Devi, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi, Deputy Mayor M Srilatha Shoban Reddy were also present at the event.
