Hyderabad police inspector suspended for corruption

The inspector allegedly misled the investigators while handling the case of a young woman who died by suicide in September.

Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate on Wednesday, October 14, suspended an inspector attached to the Ghatkesar Police Station on corruption charges.

Ghatkesar Inspector M Balaswamy was placed under suspension following an enquiry conducted by the Special Branch (SB) officials.

According to local reports, Balaswamy allegedly misled the investigators while handling the case of a young woman who died by suicide in September.
