iBomma administrator Immadi Ravi arrested in Hyderabad

Ravi was allegedly arrested right after he landed in Hyderabad from France, and Rs 3 crore in his account was frozen.

Hyderabad: Immadi Ravi, an administrator of the piracy website iBomma, was arrested on Friday, November 14.

According to reports, Ravi was arrested right after he landed in Hyderabad from France, and Rs 3 crore in his account was frozen. Ravi had reportedly been operating the website from the Caribbean islands.

In the past, several complaints have been registered against the website for pirating Telugu movies and causing losses amounting to crores of rupees.

He was shifted to the Nampally court by the Hyderabad CCS on Saturday.
