Medipally police solve missing case as man found murdered

Preliminary investigation indicates that a dispute at the workplace led to the murder.

Hyderabad: A man who had gone missing from the outskirts of Hyderabad was found murdered on Thursday, April 2.

The deceased is identified as 33-year-old P Bakkayya of Ganesh Nagar, Chengicherla.

On December 30 last year, Bakkayya went to work and did not return home. His family searched for him in many places and later filed a missing complaint.

Based on the complaint, Medipally police registered a case on January 21 and started an investigation.

As part of the probe, police detained a few suspects. During questioning, they confessed to killing Bakkayya.

Based on their information, police recovered skeletal remains packed in a bag near the Musi River Bridge at Korremula. The remains were sent for forensic examination.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a dispute at the workplace led to the murder.

Police are continuing further investigation to find out the complete details and collect more evidence.

The arrests in the case have not been announced yet.
