Nalgonda plot auction fetches Housing Board Rs 44.15 cr

The Telangana Housing Board earned Rs 44.15 crore after auctioning 31 commercial plots in Nalgonda, with 201 bidders participating in the sale.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Housing Board has generated Rs 44.15 crore in revenue through the auction of commercial plots in its Housing Board Colony on the Nalgonda-Devarakonda Road, according to Housing Board Vice-Chairman Gautam.

In a statement issued on Monday, June 22, Gautam said a public auction was conducted for 31 commercial plots in the colony. Each plot measures 233 square yards, and the Housing Board had fixed a minimum price of Rs 20,000 per square yard.

The auction witnessed strong demand from buyers, with bids significantly exceeding the base price. The highest bid reached Rs 75,500 per square yard, while the lowest successful bid stood at Rs 55,500 per square yard.

On average, the plots fetched around Rs 61,000 per square yard, reflecting robust interest in the commercial land parcels.

201 bidders participated in auction

A total of 201 bidders participated in the auction, competing aggressively to secure the plots, Gautam said.
