Body of a 5 year old girl found in a well in Telangana's Karimnagar
Hyderabad: A man in Jubilee Nagar village of Karimnagar rural mandal allegedly killed his twin daughters on Friday, April 3.
Srisailam, who had a quarrel with his wife, took his twin daughters to the well, made them drink herbicide before pushing them into an open well.
The twins were reportedly just 5 years old.
He too jumped into the well to kill himself, but managed to come out as he knew how to swim.
The villagers who were enraged by the inhuman act thrashed him before handing him over to the police.
Police said that one of the girls’ bodies was found from a well by Friday evening, and the search for the other was underway.
The police who took Srisailam into custody, have determined in their preliminary investigation that family disputes were the cause behind the crime.
