Telangana Guv, CM, Kishan Reddy express grief over demise of PM’s mother

"CM KCR conveyed his deep sympathies to the Prime Minister and his family members," a statement from Rao's office said.

Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday expressed grief over the demise of Hiraben Modi, mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Hiraben passed away at a hospital in Ahmedabad on Friday. She was 99.
“Hon’ble Shri. @narendramodi ji’s mother Smt #HeerabenModi reached lotus feet of God. Nation stands to share your loss & grief as our own families. We stand to pray for the departed soul while appealing God to give strength to bear the loss & continue tireless service to Nation,” Soundararajan tweeted.

Chandrasekhar Rao in a statement expressed condolences on the demise of Hiraben.

“CM KCR conveyed his deep sympathies to the Prime Minister and his family members,” a statement from Rao’s office said.

Union Minister for Tourism G Kishan Reddy in a tweeted expressed his condolences.

“I express my deepest & heartfelt condolences on the passing away of Smt Heeraben Modi Ji, Mother of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi Ji. Smt Heeraben Ji led a life which was guided by values, virtue & simplicity which blessed this nation with a great leader in Modi Ji,” Reddy tweeted.
