TG SAFE raid at Bhulakshmi Mess in Kukatpally.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE) found stale meat at Bhulakshmi Mess, a popular eating spot in the Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) area during a special drive on Wednesday, September 9.
Videos from the raid show the restaurant workers throwing the stale chicken and mutton into the bin. According to initial reports, a total of 30 kilograms of mutton and 20 kilograms of chicken were discarded from the restaurant’s kitchens.
TG SAFE was carrying out a special inspection of restaurants, hotels and dhabas in Kukatpally. According to videos posted on Instagram, Bhulakshmi Mess is a sought-after restaurant in KPHB beside Lulu Mall.
