TN: 5 including 4 Ayyappa devotees from AP killed in road accident

The vehicle was parked on the ECR near Keelakarai when it was hit by a speeding car today. Seven people sustained injuries in the incident, and they were admitted to a hospital here.

Ramanathapuram: Five people, including four Ayyappa devotees from Andhra Pradesh, were killed when a speeding car rammed into a parked vehicle near Keelakarai in the district on Saturday, police said.

The vehicle was parked on the ECR near Keelakarai when it was hit by a speeding car today. Seven people sustained injuries in the incident, and they were admitted to a hospital here.

A case was registered and investigation is on, they said.
