Two passengers from Vietnam caught smuggling ganja at Hyderabad airport

The two were intercepted by customs officials during check out after they arrived from Hanoi via Kuala Lumpur to Hyderabad by an Air Asia flight.

Hyderabad: Two passengers were caught smuggling 9.10 kilogram of ganja worth Rs 3.18 crore at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad on Sunday, March 8.

The two were intercepted by customs officials during check out after they arrived from Hanoi via Kuala Lumpur to Hyderabad by an Air Asia flight. The ganja was found concealed in a luggage bag.

The property was seized, and a case was booked against the two passengers. Further investigation is underway.
