Video: Transformer bursts into flames after rain in Rajendranagar

Hyderabad: A transformer near Rambagh Grounds in Rajendranagar burst into flames on Saturday, September 19, due to an electrical short circuit caused by the rain, fire officials said.

The incident occurred at around 11 pm and was attended by the Rajendranagar Fire Station. It was doused within 10-15 minutes.

Videos show huge flames rising from the transformer. Several vehicles were parked in the vicinity but suffered no damage, officials said. No injuries were reported.
