ACB arrests Nirmal forest officer for accepting Rs 12K bribe

The officer was produced before the Special Judge for Special Police Establishment and ACB Cases, Karimnagar, for judicial remand.

Hyderabad: A forest officer working in Nirmal was arrested on Thursday, October 8, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000.

Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught Forest Section Officer Aindla Ravinder, attached to the Khanapur Range, for agreeing to forward an inspection report related to the renewal of the complainant’s timber depot licence.

The officer was produced before the Special Judge for Special Police Establishment and ACB Cases, Karimnagar, for judicial remand.
