Hyderabad: Actress Zayn Marie Khan, niece of Bollywood star Aamir Khan, has addressed rumours about trouble in her marriage with Akash Mohimen. The couple, who tied the knot in 2021, are reportedly going through a rough phase.

According to recent reports, Zayn has temporarily moved out of their Mumbai home after facing issues in their relationship. However, neither Zayn nor Akash has officially confirmed any separation.

When approached for a comment, Zayn chose to remain private about the situation. She said it is a very personal matter and requested people not to discuss it without knowing complete details. 

Instead of focusing on the rumours, the actress shifted attention to important social issues. She urged people to talk about the Trans Bill in India and the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, highlighting her concern for larger causes.

“It’s a very personal thing that you are asking me. And since it’s a personal situation where you don’t have all the details, I would request you to not put it out. You should rather talk about the Trans Bill in our country which got passed into an Act which is horrific to many people and the genocide that is happening against Palestinians,” she said.

Actress focuses on work amid rumours

Zayn Marie Khan is known for her performances in films and web series. She made her debut with Mrs Serial Killer and later received praise for her role in Monica, O My Darling. She has also appeared in projects like Made in Heaven Season 2 and Illegal – Justice, Out of Order.

The actress is now gearing up for her upcoming film Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha, where she will be seen playing a police officer. Reports also suggest that she may soon make her Telugu cinema debut.

Private wedding and silence from family

Zayn married Akash Mohimen in a private ceremony in Alibaug in 2021. The wedding was attended by close family members and was officiated by her cousin, Imran Khan.

So far, neither Akash Mohimen nor family members have issued any official statement regarding the rumours. The couple appears to be handling the situation privately, with limited information available in the public domain.
