Asifabad teacher beats up child unable to read alphabets; body swollen

The incident took place at a government school in Muthyampet village.

Hyderabad: A primary government school student in Asifabad was brutally beaten up by his teacher after he was unable to read the English alphabet.

The incident took place on Tuesday, October 14, at the Muthyampet village of Koutala mandal.

Parents of Kartheek have alleged that Sai beat their child indiscriminately after he failed to read the alphabet properly.

The child suffered severe swelling on his hands and legs. His parents have lodged a complaint.
