Inspired by MMC, GHMC rolls out 5pc early bird property tax tebate

Hyderabad: Taking an idea from the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) on timely payment of property tax, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), on Tuesday, announced a five per cent discount.

However, the Early Bird Scheme is valid if the payment for the entire year is made at once, a GHMC press note said.

Residents can pay online through the official website (click here) or through the MyGHMC or MyCURE mobile app. For offline, taxpayers could pay through nearby MeeSeva centres.
