Schools in Hyderabad set to welcome students as Dasara vacation ends today

Colleges affiliated with Osmania University are going to resume classes today

Hyderabad: The schools in Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana are gearing up to reopen after a 13-day Dasara vacation. Earlier, the school education department had announced the holidays for Dasara from October 13 to 25.

Apart from schools, the junior colleges in the state are also set to reopen on Thursday. The students of the college had a Dasara vacation from October 19.

Meanwhile, colleges affiliated with Osmania University are going to resume classes today as the university declared a Dasara vacation from October 14 to 24.

During the Navaratri celebrations across Hyderabad, evenings were enlivened with Bathukamma and dandiya dances. Several associations have installed pandals with Durga idols in Hyderabad.

Now, as the festival ends, schools and other educational institutions in Hyderabad are set to reopen tomorrow.
