Telangana IT Minister D Sridhar Babu launches ITP Aero India facility
Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu on Tuesday, May 5, performed a groundbreaking ceremony for the ITP Aero Facility project at Shamshabad.
The new facility is being established at the Hardware Park Phase 3 in Shamshabad in Ranga Reddy district, with an investment of Rs 453 crore, spread across 10 acres.
ITP Aero has been present in Hyderabad for 15 years, building strong local capabilities, skilled workforce, and close relationships across the regional ecosystem.
This project will generate employment for approximately 350 highly skilled professionals over the next five years, in areas such as precision engineering, advanced manufacturing, and quality control, adding to the 250 existing jobs. The workforce is projected to expand to around 600 employees in the future.
After laying the foundation stone, the minister said, “We welcome ITP Aero’s decision to expand its footprint in Hyderabad, building on a trusted partnership of 15 years in Telangana. The new facility, expected to be fully operational in 2027, will create more than 350 skilled jobs and further strengthen our growing aerospace manufacturing ecosystem. We are proud to support long‑term investments that develop local capabilities, attract advanced manufacturing, and contribute to global supply chains from Telangana.”
Managing Director of ITP Aero Group, Carlos Alzola commented, “Hyderabad has been part ofo ur industrial journey for 15 years, we have seen this site grow and evolve alongside our business. This expansion is a source of pride, reflecting what we have achieved together and our confidence in the region’s people and manufacturing capabilities.”
This expansion comes at a time of strong global momentum for ITP Aero. In 2025, the company reported revenues of €1.88 billion (+17%), with EBITDA of €379 million (+28%), reflecting another year of robust growth. Looking ahead, ITP Aero has committed €1.2 billion in R&D and capital expenditure by 2030 across its global sites.
