Hyderabad: Goshamahal Police in Hyderabad have caught three persons for involvement in illegal online betting activities.
According to police, the action was taken on April 3 based on credible information. The accused were found using online platforms such as CricCode, Stake, and Future Play for betting.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently in progress.
The arrested persons have been identified as Anurag Ramawat (22), a student, Dhawal Khatri (22), a businessman, and Krishna (21), a student. All three are residents of different areas in Hyderabad.
During the operation, police seized three mobile phones, including an iPhone 17, an iPhone 15 Pro, and an Oppo Reno 2F, which were allegedly used for online betting activities.
Police have warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone involved in online betting, including players, organizers, and promoters.
