Two get 20 years imprisonment for transporting ganja in Telangana

The convicts have been identified as Jadav Bansilal and Rathod Shankar, both residents of Chilapally Thanda in Sangareddy district.

Hyderabad: Two individuals were sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment by a local court in Sangareddy for transporting 850 kg of ganja, police said on Thursday, February 19.

The convicts have been identified as Jadav Bansilal and Rathod Shankar, both residents of Chilapally Thanda in Sangareddy district.

Both of them have been awarded a fine of Rs 2 lakh each and will have to undergo rigorous imprisonment for two more years in case they default on the fine.
