Nalgonda: Two members of a family were killed while another was seriously injured in a road accident at Dindi in Nalgonda
district on Monday, August 24.
P. Nagaraju, 32, and his 22-year-old sister L. Chandrakala, residents of Rayavaram in Nagarkurnool district, were identified as the deceased. Chandrakala’s husband, L. Srikanth, was injured.
According to the Deccan Chronicle, the accident occurred around noon, when a car hit their motorcycle while attempting to overtake a lorry.
The trio was on their way to their native place to attend the last rites of a relative who died recently. Nagaraju, who was driving the motorcycle, died on the spot. Chandrakala died while being shifted to the hospital. Srikanth, who was shifted to the Area Hospital in Devarakonda, is in a serious condition.
The Dindi police registered a case and took up an investigation.
