Govt official in Telangana ACB’s net over Rs 10K bribe

The accused officer, G Sandeep, had demanded the bribe for forwarding the Rythu Bheema compensation file of the complainant's father to higher officials.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday, November 6, nabbed an agriculture extension officer from Maripeda in Mahabubabad district for accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000.

According to ACB officials, the accused officer, G Sandeep, had demanded the bribe for forwarding the Rythu Bheema compensation file of the complainant’s father to higher officials.

ACB has urged the public to file a complaint in case any public servant demands a bribe for official work.
