Sharjah denies rumours of tiger roaming the streets

The authority called on the public to verify the information from official sources.

The Environment and Protected Areas Authority of Sharjah on Saturday, April 27, denied rumours of a tiger being spotted roaming in one of the areas of the emirate.

Taking to X, the authority called on the public to verify the information from official sources and warned not to circulate rumours.

In 2021, Dubai Police confirmed a wild animal being on the loose, causing panic among residents of The Springs 3 community.
