Hyderabad: Two young lives were lost, and two others were injured in a road mishap on the Karimnagar bypass road late on Thursday night, April 3. The incident took place near the Bommakal flyover when a speeding car hit a stationary lorry parked on the roadside from behind.
The deceased were identified as Syed Abdul Rahman and Syed Atyab Hussein, whose lives were lost on the spot. Two others travelling in the same car suffered injuries, with one of them sustaining severe injuries.
The police, upon information, reached the spot immediately and rushed the injured to a nearby hospital. The bodies were taken to the district headquarters hospital for a postmortem.
The police registered a case and started an investigation. Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver of the car was driving at a high speed, which might have caused the mishap.
