Telangana: TRS leader distributes chicken, liquor ahead of KCR’s national party launch

Hyderabad: Ahead of Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s (KCR) national party launch on the occasion of Dasara, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Rajanala Srihari on Tuesday distributed chicken and liquor bottles to locals in Warangal.

In a video shared on Twitter, Srihari is seen distributing freebies to locals in front of a cut-out of Telangana chief minister KCR. It is to be noted that the KCR is slated to launch his national party “Bharatiya Rashtra Samiti” on Wednesday.

BJP questions TRS’s credibility

Responding to the incident, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson N V Subhash raised questions on TRS’s credibility just a day before the launch of its national party by its president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

“What message the TRS party wanted to give to the people by distributing chicken and liquor bottles publicly which was released by TV channels? KCR may promise to bring the moon to earth. Can it be possible?” Subhash asked.
