Hyderabad: ALBAIK, one of Saudi Arabia’s best-known fast-food chains, is set to make its Hyderabad debut with ready-to-eat chicken nuggets, which will be made available through a local distributor.
Aadam Marketing & Distributor has opened pre-bookings for ALBAIK’s nuggets, which will be available through its Tolichowki and New Malakpetoutlets.
Speaking to Siasat.com, the company’s owner, Mohammed Amaan, said the nuggets would be sourced directly from an ALBAIK outlet in Saudi Arabia and delivered on the same day.
He added that the updated price for the product will be announced on Thursday, July 9, with deliveries expected to begin on Friday, July 10 or Saturday, July 11.
Addressing questions over the launch announcement shared on social media, Amaan clarified that the ALBAIK logo used in the promotional artwork was AI-generated. However, he said the nuggets and their packaging would be original ALBAIK products sourced directly from Saudi Arabia.
The launch is limited to ALBAIK’s nuggets and does not indicate plans to open an ALBAIK restaurant in Hyderabad.
The product packaging describes the nuggets as premium quality, crispy and juicy, 100 percent halal, and frozen to preserve freshness and quality.
Founded in Jeddah in 1974 by Shakkour Abu Ghazalah, ALBAIK has expanded to more than 120 branches across Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Bahrain. The brand is known for its fried chicken and signature blend of 18 spices. Following Abu Ghazalah’s death, the business has continued under the leadership of his sons.
