Fire breaks out at plastic unit in Hyderabad

The fire broke out at 2:33 AM, there were no casualties, six vehicles were deployed at the unit and the operation is underway.

Hyderabad: A fire broke out at a plastic segregation unit in Hyderabad’s Balajinagar on Tuesday, June 23.

The incident occurred in the Jalpally area, causing panic among residents. After being alerted, the fire department deployed eight engines to douse the fire.

Speaking to Siasat.com, fire officials said, “The fire broke out at 2:33 am; there were no casualties, six vehicles were deployed at the unit, and the operation is underway. The cause of the fire and the estimated loss is yet to be known.”

Fire at furniture shops

The incident in Balajinagar is the second accident reported on Tuesday. Earlier, six furniture shops were gutted in a fire accident in Gudimalkapur.
