Two friends die on Friendship Day at Vizag Beach

Visakhapatnam: Friendship Day turned tragic for a bunch of young men and women who lost two of their friends after a strong wave swept them away at Vizag Beach, Andhra Pradesh, on Sunday, August 2.

The bunch were enjoying and taking photographs near the shoreline when tragedy struck. One of their friends, Neethu, lost control and was pulled by the waves.

The other deceased, Ramu, tried to save her but in vain.

A search operation is on to recover the bodies.
