Afghanistan cricket team caused another big sensation in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup by beating Pakistan by eight wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Monday. Following the victory, the team raised the ‘Naara-e-Takbir Allahu Akbar’ slogan.

Soon after the video of the team raising the slogan went viral on social media, some netizens started reacting.

Afghanistan cricket team beat Pakistan for first time in ODI

Afghanistan cricket team beat Pakistan for the first time in an ODI on Monday. This marks Afghanistan’s second upset in this tournament after they stunned defending champions England by 69 runs a few days ago. This was their highest-ever chase in ODI history.

This is Afghanistan’s second win in five matches in this event. Following the win, Afghanistan, Australia and Pakistan have four points each. However, Australia holds the fourth position based on a better Net Run Rate, while Pakistan is in fifth place, leaving Afghanistan in the sixth position among the 10 teams.
