CM KCR retaining Bihar origin officials for pecuniary gain: Revanth

Hyderabad: TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy today accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of retaining the officials from Bihar State for pecuniary gain. To substantiate his charge, the TPCC chief said all the important departments in the State have IAS and IPS officers belonging to Bihar State.

He said IAS officers like Irrigation department Commissioner and Special Chief Secretary Rajat Kumar, Municipal Administration and Urban Development secretary Aravind Kumar, IT department Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and PR department secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania belonged to Bihar State.

The TPCC chief alleged that the presence of Bihar IAS officers was causing injustice to the IAS officers belonging to the State. He questioned the Chief Minister whether there was no talented IAS officer from the State to hold important portfolios. Stating that both CM and Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar introduced Dharani portal, he alleged that the portal has several mistakes and causing disputes.

Claiming that two murders of realtors that took place at Ibrahimpatnam mandal on Tuesday were due to the faults in the Dharani portal, he alleged that the officials of the Revenue department had given land pattas to the old owners in the dharani portal while ignoring the names of the new buyers causing problems for the buyers.

He also alleged that Rajat Kumar, who had deleted 30 lakh voters before GHMC elections was rewarded with a plump post in the irrigation department.

He also claimed that Somesh Kumar did not work in the government posts for seven years between 1989 to 2020.
