Hyderabad: 235 abandoned vehicles to be auctioned off

Hyderabad: At least 235 three and two-wheeler vehicles were found abandoned on the streets within the jurisdiction of various police stations and have been stationed at the City Armed Reserve Headquarters in Amberpet and are ready to be auctioned off.

The Rachakonda Police Commissionerate will auction or return the vehicles to their rightful owners if claimed.

The decision to auction the vehicles comes under Section 22(1) (a) to (f) and 22(2) (a) to (b) and 22(3) of (No. IX) of Rachakonda, R/w Act 7 of Cyberabad or Rachakonda and Section 39(b), 40 & 41 of Hyderabad City Police Act 1348-F.
