Hyderabad: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Dr. Ashish Chauhan, Senior Internationalist, Apollo Hospitals felicitated several women from different walks of life at the Sailing Club.
The women who were honoured include Aruna Darkes, former IAS, Dr. Ashima CPR Expert NIMS, Vidya Sarvati member, Minority Commission, Salva Fatima, Pilot, Uma Sudhir NDTV, Ratna Chothrani Siasat Daily and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ajay Mishra, Former Principal Secretary and current Chairman Red Cross Telangana State praised women achievers and said that women are the strength of this nation. On this occasion, he dedicated his poetry to his mother.
Dr. Ashish Chauhan also praised women achievers and said that they are in favour of increasing women’s participation in every field and advocate it. Renowned actor Suman, Dr Sai Baba Goud, Mrs.Sai Baba Goud, Vijay, actor Koteshwar Rao and others were also present on the occasion.
