Hyderabad: A major mishap was averted after a huge tree fell on a moving SUV in Hyderabad’s Kukatpally on Monday, June 22.
The incident occurred at Vivekananda Nagar when the car was passing by. Fortunately, none of the occupants were injured as the SUV absorbed the force of the fallen tree.
Videos shared on social media showed the car stuck under the tree, as passers by went around the wreckage.
After being alerted, the police and the Disaster Relief Force personnel removed the wreckage to ensure smooth flow of traffic. No case has been registered in the incident, the police told Siasat.com.
