Hyderabad: A 9-year-old boy lost his life in a freak accident in Alwal after a truck ran him over on Thursday, February 8.
According to the media report, the boy and his family were on their way to the hospital where the boy’s father was admitted after a recent accident.
In the footage of the incident caught on CCTV, the parked supermarket truck is seen rolling onto the road and knocking down the boy while he was walking by with his mother.
The truck driver had parked the vehicle carelessly and left which started to move a while later and hit the boy.
Police have registered a case under Indian Penal Code section 304 a (causing death by negligence).
