Jubilee Hills traffic police officers transferred over bribery allegations

The officers include traffic inspector Narsing Rao, sub-inspector Ashok, home guard Keshavalu and court constable Sudhakar.

Hyderabad: Four officers from the Jubilee Hills traffic police station have been transferred to the City Armed Reserve Headquarters, Hyderabad over allegations of accepting bribes to clear drunk-driving challans.

The officers include traffic inspector Narsing Rao, sub-inspector Ashok, home guard Keshavalu and court constable Sudhakar.

An enquiry has been ordered by the Hyderabad police commissioner, VC Sajjanar, into the complaints against the officers.
